After nearly thirty years at Rabobank, specialising in M&A, leveraged finance, special asset management and packaging sector coverage, Tjard is a trusted adviser to companies navigating the transition toward more sustainable and resilient business models. He has extensive experience working with corporates and financial institutions across the full credit cycle, from origination and distribution to restructuring and circular economy strategy.

Tjard built Rabobank’s global packaging and logistics franchise, leading a EUR 15B portfolio across 15+ jurisdictions and delivering board-level advisory to leading companies worldwide. He has convened international circularity summits in Europe and the United States, and most recently led Rabobank’s circular economy partnership with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.

With a strong international network across packaging, food systems, and sustainable finance, and fluency in three languages with working knowledge of two more, he brings valuable strategic and governance support to Collateral Good and its portfolio companies.
