Martin is a Venture Partner at Collateral Good, bringing over two decades of investment expertise. He spent 19 years at the adidas Group, serving as VP and Global Head of M&A and managing director of adidas Ventures B.V. Martin founded adidas’ first corporate venturing arm, Hydra Ventures, in 2012 and oversaw more than 20 acquisitions and divestitures. In this role, he directed investments exceeding €100M across nearly 20 start-ups and four venture funds, holding Board, Observer, and Advisory positions in over 10 portfolio companies.

Following his tenure at adidas, Martin advised leading consumer and retail-focused private equity firm Sycamore Partners on high-profile growth and carve-out transactions. From 2021 to 2023, he spearheaded M&A and Strategic Investments at HUGO BOSS AG. Additionally, Martin has held a strategic advisory role with South Korean private equity firm Centroid Investment Partners and currently serves on the Supervisory Board of Sporttotal AG.

Martin holds a degree in Business Administration from the European Business School in Germany.
