BACKGROUND

Collateral Good is a climate-first and technology-focused venture capital platform founded in 2021 by molecular and cell biologist Dr Regina Hecker, retail expert Mariana Gonzalez and serial entrepreneur and investor Michael Kleindl. The founders and team of Collateral Good feel responsible for contributing with their means (human and capital) to help the world consume, eat, dress, and build more sustainably to mitigate climate change. Collateral Good is dedicated to collaborating with and supporting visionary business leaders who are ambitious and focused on how their business can be a positive force for stakeholders, communities and nature. To us, doing “collateral good” means providing for stakeholders while intrinsically contributing to social and environmental impact.

The underlying mission of the managed funds is to support and promote a positive, measurable impact globally alongside a significant financial return. The main focus areas are well-defined within each strategy.

The firm has committed to all strategies to follow Art 9 under the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).
