Job Description

Fund Investment Operations Manager (60-100%)

Collateral Good is seeking a well-rounded Fund Investment Operations Manager with investment experience to join our team as of January 2026 (or earlier). This role is ideal for someone who thrives on deep analytical work, understands fund operations and mechanics, and brings both interest and experience in venture investments. You will help us build and manage an institutional-grade investment infrastructure. The position is available at 60–100%.

As Fund Operations Manager, you will work directly with the partners and play a key role in fund operations, financial modeling, portfolio monitoring, and investment analysis across all funds.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and ensure the quality of quarterly investor reports
  • Plan and implement capital measures and distributions
  • Support ongoing portfolio management by applying our value creation toolbox
  • Contribute to investment memos and support the internal Investment Committee (IC) process
  • Drive business plan modelling and related analyses (e.g., sensitivity and scenario analyses) across the portfolio
  • Assist in deal evaluation, financial due diligence, and execution
  • Conduct thematic deep dives and competitive analyses across core verticals
  • Provide high-quality analytical support to the partners, including financial analysis, market research, and scenario modelling
  • Act as the technical contact for investments regarding capital measures, distributions, and legal documentation
  • Support fund operations across all active thematic funds, including portfolio valuations, reporting, and financial planning at both portfolio and fund level
  • Assist with fund controlling, budgeting, accounting, annual audits, quarterly valuations, and legal frameworks
  • Coordinate closely with the AIFM and other external service providers on legal, depositary, compliance, licensing, fund structuring, tax, and regulatory matters
  • Ensure quality control of alternative asset fund accounting and investment portfolio accounting

Your Profile:

  • 5–7 years of experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Audit, Consulting, or Investment Banking
  • Practical experience with fund structures and fund operations
  • Academic background in business, finance, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or similar qualifications are a strong plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent technical proficiency, including PowerPoint, Excel, and structured work methodologies
  • Advanced expertise in financial modelling, business plan modelling, and financial analysis, with a strong affinity for numbers
  • Solid legal knowledge of Luxembourg-based funds and compliance
  • Highly structured, detail-oriented, and quality-driven working style
  • Sound investment judgment and ability to assess business potential
  • Strong sense of ownership with high accountability
  • Independent, precise, and proactive working style with strong results orientation
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to take on responsibility
  • Strong organisational skills combined with high flexibility and resilience
  • Passion for technology, innovation, impact, and the start-up ecosystem
  • Fluent in English and German (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
