Investor Relations & Marketing Manager
About Collateral Good
Collateral Good is an innovation & impact venture capital firm headquartered in Zürich city centre (Niederdorf), investing in the decarbonisation of materials and manufacturing value chains. The firm operates multiple SFDR Article 8 and 9 strategies across four sectors: Food, Packaging, Textile & Fashion, and Industry. Collateral Good backs early-stage companies developing the processes, materials, and technologies needed to transition industrial systems toward net-zero.
The Role
This is a generalist investor relations and marketing position, working directly with the Founding Partner on all aspects of fundraising, LP communications, and external positioning. The role is cross-fund and cross-sector, covering the firm’s full portfolio of strategies rather than a single fund. It suits a self-directed professional who is comfortable managing competing workstreams, communicating with a sophisticated institutional audience, and producing polished output to a consistent standard. We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Relations & Fundraising Support
– Prepare and maintain the full suite of fundraising and fund support materials across all active strategies, including LP pitch decks, fund overviews, executive summaries, track record addenda, virtual data room (VDR) documentation, fund models, and relevant market data.
– Support the fundraising process end-to-end: from LP identification and initial outreach coordination through to due diligence support, DDQ preparation and responses, and closing documentation.
– Build and maintain the firm’s investment narrative across all materials, ensuring consistent positioning of each strategy for an institutional LP audience.
– Manage LP data and CRM records; maintain accurate contact information, interaction logs, and pipeline tracking across the firm’s investor base.
– Identify and qualify prospective LPs across target geographies and investor types; support the partners in prioritising and structuring outreach campaigns.
– Coordinate LP meeting logistics, quarterly update preparation, and follow-up communications in close collaboration with the partners.
– Draft and refine LP-facing written communications, including quarterly letters, investor updates, and ad hoc correspondence.
– Gather and synthesise LP feedback and investor sentiment following meetings and communications; report findings internally to inform positioning and fundraising approach.
– Conduct research to support the development of new fund strategies, including market landscaping, peer analysis, and thematic background work.
Marketing & Communications
– Own and produce the firm’s quarterly newsletter, website maintenance and updates, and PR communications, from drafting through to publication.
– Contribute to the firm’s LP development strategy by proposing and executing creative approaches to brand building and audience engagement beyond standard fundraising channels.
– Coordinate the firm’s LinkedIn presence in collaboration with an external communications agency (current setup): briefing content, reviewing drafts, and approving posts before publication.
– Take ownership of firm events from concept to execution, including Collateral Good’s annual LP gathering and sector conference participation. Responsibilities span the full lifecycle: event strategy, venue and vendor sourcing, budget management, stakeholder coordination, on-site logistics, and post-event follow-up.
– Maintain and update branded presentation templates, ensuring visual consistency across all external and internal materials.
Office & Team Coordination
– Manage general office operations, including meeting room set-up for investor visits and day-to-day administrative coordination.
– Support HR administration, including leave tracking, onboarding documentation, and internal policy maintenance.
– Act as a coordination point for internal projects that require cross-team input or external vendor engagement.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
– Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field.
– 3 to 5 years of experience in investor relations, fund marketing, capital formation, or a related role within asset management, private equity, or venture capital.
– Demonstrable track record of producing high-quality LP-facing materials and managing investor communications.
– Familiarity with SFDR or impact investment frameworks is an advantage but not a requirement.
Skills
– Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and German; a third language is an advantage.
– Strong command of PowerPoint and Excel; comfortable working across standard office and CRM tools.
– Analytical mindset: able to synthesise information, identify patterns, and communicate findings clearly to a non-technical audience.
– High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without loss of quality.
– Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders and exercising independent judgement on day-to-day decisions.
Personal Attributes
– Organised, reliable, and able to prioritise without constant direction.
– Discreet and professional when handling confidential investor information.

Requirements
– Valid work permit for Switzerland; candidates must have the right to work in Switzerland at the time of application.
– Based in or able to relocate to Zürich prior to start date.
– Availability to work from the Zürich office four days per week.
What We Offer
– A direct working relationship with the Founding Partner and senior investment team.
