Nic has a long career in bioprocess technology innovation, notably in the precision fermentation domain, having previously led a prominent industrial microbiology research laboratory in Toulouse. He later moved to Singapore to develop a biotransformation innovation platform. Now retired from his CNRS Senior Research Director position, he advises the Singapore Institute of Food and Biotechnology Innovation (A*STAR) and participates in the ‘Future of Fermented Foods’ research network in France.
