Big Wins for Our Portfolio: 4 Companies Named Among the World’s Top GreenTech Companies of 2025

We’ve got some good news we’re genuinely proud to share.

Four of our portfolio companies have been named in TIME and Statista’s World’s Top GreenTech Companies of 2025 — with two landing in the global top 10. It’s a meaningful moment for us, and more importantly, a sign that solutions for a regenerative, low-impact economy are getting the recognition — and momentum — they deserve.

This ranking looked at over 8,000 companies from across the globe, assessing their environmental impact, financial performance, and ability to innovate. Only 250 made the final list. To see four of our companies among them is exciting not because of the spotlight itself — but because it shows that the kinds of businesses we back are pushing their industries in the right direction.

A Global Benchmark for What’s Working

The TIME x Statista list is one of the first global attempts to highlight companies that are actually doing something about the climate crisis — not just making promises. It’s based on data and performance, not marketing. The result is a snapshot of the companies shaping what the future of sustainable industry could look like — across sectors, regions, and business models.

We’re proud to back four of them. Here’s who made the list — and why it matters.

Top 10 Worldwide

#5 – Planted

Switzerland | Plant-Based Protein

Planted is proving that sustainability doesn’t have to come at the cost of taste or transparency. Their clean-label, whole-ingredient approach to plant-based meat has caught on fast — not just with conscious consumers, but with anyone who enjoys good food. Landing at #5 globally is a huge moment for the team, and for Swiss food tech as a whole.

#10 – Mosa Meat

Netherlands | Cultivated Meat

Mosa Meat is changing the way we think about meat. By growing real beef directly from animal cells, they’re cutting down on emissions, land use, and water consumption — while keeping the experience of meat intact. It’s not a future concept anymore; it’s a growing reality. And this ranking is just one more sign that the shift is already underway.

Top 100

#50 – TIPA

Israel | Compostable Packaging

TIPA is taking on one of the most stubborn problems in sustainability: plastic waste. Their compostable packaging alternatives are designed to break down like organic waste — and they’re already being used by food and fashion brands around the world. Scaling packaging innovation is tough, but TIPA is showing what it looks like to do it well.

#76 – The Livekindly Collective

Global | Plant-Based Food Platform

Livekindly brings together multiple plant-based brands under one roof — all working towards a shared vision of making sustainable food the default, not the alternative. Through bold storytelling and a growing lineup of products, they’re helping plant-based eating move from niche to norm. Their presence on the list is a nod to how fast this movement is growing.

Why This Recognition Matters

For us, these rankings aren’t just a nice headline — they’re proof that climate solutions with depth, integrity, and scalability are being recognised as serious business.

We’ve always believed that it’s possible — and necessary — to back founders building companies that go beyond “less bad” and push towards truly regenerative systems. This moment shows that they’re not just making progress — they’re leading their categories.

To the teams at Planted, Mosa Meat, TIPA, and Livekindly: we see the hard work, the persistence, the science, and the values behind what you’re building. This recognition is well earned. And it’s only the beginning.
