EVERY™ is a San-Francisco-based food technology company on a mission to build a more secure and accessible global food system by supplying food and beverage companies with bio-equivalent protein ingredients made using precision fermentation.

EVERY’s line of innovative, FDA-approved ingredients includes OvoPro™ (ovalbumin, formerly EVERY EggWhite) which replaces the functionality of egg and egg whites in a range of applications, and OvoBoost™ (formerly EVERY Protein), a highly soluble, taste and texture neutral protein that can be used to fortify a wide variety of food and beverage products including coffees, juices, sodas, syrups, and baked goods.

The Story So Far

Founded in 2014 by Arturo Elizondo, The EVERY Company is a food-tech leader pioneering precision fermentation technology to brew real animal proteins without the use of a single animal – starting with the world’s first egg made without a chicken. Arturo, a Harvard graduate, combines experience from the USDA, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s chambers, and Credit Suisse.

Recognized as one of Forbes’ "30 Under 30" and Smithsonian Magazine's “Ten Innovators to Watch,” Arturo's vision has driven EVERY to develop FDA-approved products like OvoPro™ and OvoBoost™, revolutionizing how food and beverage companies craft sustainable, functional products. Prior to founding EVERY (fka Clara Foods), Arturo served under Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the investment bank Credit Suisse. He has been named to Forbes’ “30 Under 30,” Newsweeks’ “America’s 50 Greatest Disruptors”, San Francisco Business Times’ “40 Under 40,” and “Ten Innovators to Watch” by Smithsonian Magazine. He was also named Person of the Year by the National Hispanic Institute, and one of “10 Latinos who inspire the United States” by BBC World News. Arturo hails from Laredo, Texas and grew up living on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. He holds a degree in Government & Comparative Politics from Harvard University.
