Revolutionary biodegradable packaging solutions for the food & fashion industry.

The Idea in Action

TIPA is tackling the global plastic waste crisis by developing fully compostable flexible packaging solutions. Since the 1950s, only 9% of the 8.3 billion tons of plastic produced has been recycled, with the rest polluting landfills and oceans. Today, 380 million tons of plastic are produced annually, nearly half for packaging. TIPA’s innovative products behave like organic waste, disintegrating and biodegrading into nutrient-rich soil when composted. These solutions reduce the harmful impact of traditional plastic packaging while offering the same transparency, durability, and convenience, paving the way toward a circular economy.

The Story So Far

Founded in Israel in 2010 by Daphna Nissenbaum, TIPA is a pioneer in sustainable packaging. With certifications for both home and industrial composting, TIPA offers high-performing alternatives to single-use plastics, helping industries like food and fashion reduce their environmental impact.

Brands across North America, Europe, and Australia use TIPA’s innovative solutions to transition toward eco-friendly packaging without compromising quality.
